A Platform Admin adds people to Curade and looks after their accounts in User Management, under Settings. Curade has no public sign up, so every account starts here.

Before you begin

  • You are a Platform Admin, and the tenants the person needs exist (Manage tenants).
  • You have the person's email address and a username for them.

Steps

  1. Open Settings, then User Management, and select Add New User.
  2. Enter the person's email address and a username. Neither may belong to another account.
  3. Pick their platform role: Admin for a Platform Admin, or User for a Platform User.
  4. For a Platform User, select Add Tenant under Tenant Roles for each tenant they need, and pick their role in it.
  5. Type a starting password of at least eight characters, with upper and lower case letters, a number and a special character, and type it again to confirm it.
  6. Select Create User.
  7. Tell the person their email address and starting password, and that Forgot password? on the sign in page sets one of their own (Get access).

Result

The person can sign in, and sees the tenants they hold a role in.

Other changes

  • Edit an account from the list to change the person's Platform Role and Tenant Roles.
  • Update Password sets a new password for someone locked out.
  • Deleting an account removes it, with the dashboards and chats it owns, and cannot be undone, so have the person transfer any dashboard others rely on first. You can delete any account but your own.
