Investigate a problem
Work through an open problem in Curade Mini, from why it is there and what changed around its start to what it touched and its evidence.
On this page
A problem's page gathers what you need to understand it: why it is there, what changed around the time it started, what it touched and the events behind it.
Before you begin
- The environment and the time window are the ones the problem sits in (Switch environment and time window).
Steps
- Open Problems from the drawer.
- On the Open tab, read the reason under each card's title and pick the problem to look at.
- Tap Investigate on its card.
- Read Why this happened: the verdict first, then the findings, each labelled with how closely it is tied to the problem.
- Scroll to the relationship map to see what the problem touched, and tap View details on a service or host to open its page.
- Open Event Logs and read Part of this problem for the evidence monitoring recorded.
- Tap Ask CLEO about this to talk the problem through with CLEO.
Result
You know what monitoring named as the cause, what changed around the start, and how far the problem reached. To hand it on, share it with Share Problem Alert or use Copy details (Export a page).
